... if every soul carries a unique constellation of experiences that shape their unique perspective and vision of reality, what vital shifts might Humanity never go through, if you don't share yours, while you still can ?
This then begs the question:
“Why are different perspectives so important for the evolution of Humanity ?”
Our life develops by the way we think, so the best way to change our life is to change the way we think. But how can we think to think differently, unless we’re exposed to some kind of external stimuli that moves us to think differently ?
Newton’s Laws of Motion:
“An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force.”
Thoughts and perspectives, like objects in motion, stay on their familiar paths unless acted upon by an external force.
Your thoughts are like a river flowing in a particular direction, one that was dictated by your upbringing and other influences you are not aware of.
Without the external force of another’s perspective acting upon our own, our perspectives and thoughts will remain the same and follow the same trajectory of development that our upbringing and circumstances created, that is unless we encounter new ideas, perspectives, or experiences that challenge us, expand us, and change us.
We need the "external forces" of new experiences, different viewpoints, and fresh perspectives to disrupt our usual thought patterns and create new pathways of thinking.
Now, given everything I just said about the power of external forces to shape new thought patterns, let me re-frame the question I posed at the beginning:
If thoughts and perspectives, like objects in motion, stay on their familiar paths unless acted upon by an external force, what vital shifts in human consciousness might you be depriving us of, if you don’t share your unique perspective and talents with others ?
