In a sea of stars, my starlight may never find you, never reach you, and may always be unknowable. Nevertheless, Whether the times be troubled, stasis or serene, May the light of these words bring you solace and insight, For the great road ahead. Who is to say whether one’s breath will be brief, or long, Or merely an illusion, created by our own minds ? What is certain, is that the days can get dark at times, and the muddied skies, often make it difficult To look up at the stars. So may these words be company, that you never grow jaded of May they touch you, you who yearns to be touched where you were once hopelessly hurt. May they be your eyes and ears to witness, those heavy hearted nights Reminding you that you belong ! to some raging delusional poet out there amongst a sea of stars. Reminding you, that someone somewhere somehow, sees you, even if only by starlight.
