Whether it be the external forces of prestige
Or the internal ones of fears unleashed
The way is certainly paved
With a great many heavy stumbling blocks
That would cause even the strongest ones
To sway even by just a degree
And betray the rhythm of their Heart.
But give me a life well lived, any life,
And I’ll show you the influence of the Heart
Lending it’s name and it’s rightful claim
To a riches that even the gods would envy.
So I ask you my fellow traveller,
For whom does your heart beat and sing for ?
In whose name do you dream ?
Whose name reconciles you with life,
When your suffering threathens
To swallow you whole ?
Answer me this truthfully,
And freedom is half-way yours.
But if perchance
You already know the answer,
Then my question for you is,
Why wait for Heaven ?
